Yes, our e-Commerce storefront allows you to add a product or service to your cart and then send it to your email as a quote. The email quote will have a unique link that will allow for you to purchase the saved cart at a later time.
No, we have no rental fees, upfront costs or additional monthly fees, all prices are inclusive of transportation, handling, and set-up.

You will receive an email confirmation on your purchase followed by an onboarding call from our customer support team to confirm your order and schedule your first service date. Please note that we are not able to guarantee a service date or an exact time for your service.
Once you complete a purchase, you will receive an email to activate your account and gain access to the Express Portal dashboard. You can also access the portal directly HERE and follow the login prompts. Note the system uses Okta multi-factor authentication.
Shredding
Secure shredding allows businesses to safely destroy unnecessary paper based documents that may contain confidential information. Shredding can help prevent identity theft and data breaches - and can help to free up space, and recycle documents.
Boxes are not provided by Iron Mountain for shredding orders. Customers must procure boxes individually. If you do not want to procure your own boxes you can look at our Flex Bin Shred product.
We do service some residential locations, please contact us to verify that your location is accessible. Services such as Onsite Shredding require larger streets, longer processing times and produce substantial noise. Please be aware if your neighborhood or street has limitations regarding these things and large vehicles. Also be aware that Drivers are not permitted to enter the residence. All material for residential accounts must be staged ground level outside or in a garage/shed for service. All material for business should be on ground level or having elevator access.
Service can be completed at most residential locations; however, our drivers are able to deny service if they do not think it can be completed safely. If this is the case we will notify you and you will receive a full refund.
If using the Offsite service, paper is picked up from your location and transported to a shredding facility for final shredding. You can request a final "certificate of destruction" once the service is complete.
If using the Onsite service, paper will be shredded onsite using a specially equipped mobile shredding vehicle.

Depending on your needs, you can select from any combination of 32-gallon shred consoles or 65-gallon shred bins when you speak to a Customer Support Representative after purchase.
You may request a pickup service using the "Schedule Flex Bin Pickup Service" modal in our Help Center. Enter the Order Confirmation Number from the initial purchase and the purchaser email address. We will send an email verification link and then you can complete the online scheduling of the entire order.
You have 60 days starting on your purchase date to fill the bin and schedule the pickup service.
Included in the price, you have a flexible 60-day period to fill up the bin and call for pickup. We reserve the right to charge an additional $30 Equipment Rental fee for bins that are kept longer than 60 days.
Pricing, Payment & Billing
The e-Commerce storefront supports services for multiple locations. If you have more than one location, click the “Multiple service locations” checkbox located in the cart of the storefront.
No, if you have an existing contract with Iron Mountain, any purchases made through the e-Commerce storefront will not be linked to your Iron Mountain account.
When you sign up for a plan you are automatically enrolled in autopay for the length of the contract term. You will be billed on the same day each month and receive email confirmation.
Yes, you can update your plan by contacting your Iron Mountain customer support representative at 1-888-703-8127. You can upgrade the amount of storage or shred bins you require, or even upgrade to a different plan altogether. In some cases fees may apply, and you will be notified if that is the case. All changes will be active on the first day of your next billing cycle.

You are required to fulfill your 12 month commitment when cancelling. Any balance owed on your account will be charged at time of cancellation. Contact your customer support representative and they will assist you with closing your account and canceling your service.
You are required to cancel prior to the next scheduled service date. You will pay initially for the container(s) delivery and then again when the container(s) are serviced and removed. Contact your customer support representative and they will assist you with closing your account and canceling your service.
Both plans are charged on a monthly basis; however, the contractual commitment is different. Annual plans require a 12 month commitment, whereas; the Monthly plan has only a monthly commitment.

Storage Box Supplies
Storage services come with boxes that are provided in advance of your first service date free of charge. There is no need to purchase additional boxes unless you want extra boxes for other purposes.
Yes, you can purchase boxes for shredding. Please note that boxes will be destroyed along with the contents and not returned for future use.
Yes, the Iron Mountain boxes were designed with storage in mind. Each box is easy to assemble and have a protective, extra deep lid design for additional durability. You can see additional features here. Note that if you purchased a storage plan, boxes are included free of charge.
Once the supplies have been delivered to your service location, we do not allow for refunds.
Box supplies are sold in 10 box packs. Each price is for a 10 box pack and includes both bottom and top.
Each of the boxes are 15 x 12 x 10 for letter and legal documents.
Each box can hold approximately 20-30 lbs of paper.
Supplies will be delivered by an Iron Mountain service vehicle on a scheduled date.
IT Electronics Recycling
The office electronic recycling boxes do not lock and should be kept in a secure location within your facility while being filled.
The boxes will need to be easily accessed by Iron Mountain to complete the final pickup. Please be mindful of any office doorway dimensions, to ensure that the boxes can be easily retrieved.
Customers have 90 days from delivery date to schedule the final pickup. Orders not scheduled for pickup after 90 days will forfeit the included pickup service and no refund will be given.
No, at this time we are not offering the Office Recycling Pallet Box to residential customers.
We only support one business location per order at this time. You are free to make multiple orders if needed.
Yes, you can feel secure knowing that our internationally-recognized standards ensure compliance with industry best practices for data security, environmental compliance, and Occupational Health and Safety.
Customers can expect initial contact within 24 hours of placing the order online. A service date will then be proposed within 8 business days. Once the service date has been accepted, the actual order delivery will be completed.
Yes, Iron Mountain adheres to internationally recognized recycling standards including R2. All hard drives are destroyed completely. Any remaining components (circuit board, RAM, etc.) are fully recycled. No components are released to landfills.
Yes, Iron Mountain has a world-class logistics and processing service. Iron Mountain maintains a trackable fleet with patented systems and processes to support best-in-class disposition. You will receive a secure chain of custody at every touchpoint of the destruction process.
No. The price that you pay today includes recording material serial numbers, shipping the box to you, and picking it up when you are ready.
You will receive a certificate of recycling and data destruction to the email on file once Iron Mountain has received and processed the box contents.
The contents do not need to be wiped prior to shipment; however, you may do so if you wish. We will destroy all data and recycle the contents of the container completely and securely, including any data bearing devices.
Workplace IT Asset Retrieval
Orders are sent via UPS. Once the boxes are filled and ready to be sent back they should be taken to the local UPS store (preferred) or UPS drop off location.
Iron Mountain recommends that all customers remove or wipe data from their device before submission. Customers are solely responsible for the removal or wiping of their data at their own discretion prior to shipping the device to be recycled.
Once your electronics are received, Iron Mountain will destroy any data, and the devices will be sustainably recycled. All hard drives are destroyed completely. Any remaining components (circuit board, RAM, etc.) are fully recycled. No components are released to landfills.
Yes, UPS keeps labels active for 120 days. If the labels are not scanned for pickup within 120 days they will become unusable.

Warehousing and Logistics
Iron Mountain Warehousing and Logistics maintains over 15 strategically located warehouses and fulfillment centers throughout North America. At this time, the following locations are available for pallet storage on Iron Mountain Express, please contact us if you have additional needs:
Once you place your order online, a support representative will reach out to you to review the specifics on how to set up pallet delivery. Pallets must be packed according to guidelines below.
Purchasing pallet storage online requires a minimum number of pallets and minimum contract of 3 months.
Standard pallet dimensions are 48x44x60.
Pallets should not exceed 2,000 lbs.
The following items are not permitted to be stored in Iron Mountain warehouses.
Requests to remove pallets can be initiated through Iron Mountain’s warehouse management system. Goods must be requested at the pallet level.
Each pallet will be organized and tracked using Iron Mountain’s warehouse management system (WMS). Our WMS technology allows you to view pallet inventory count and initiate pallet activity in our online portal.
The security of your assets is our top priority. All facilities include:
At the time of purchase, you will commit to a minimum monthly amount for storage based on the warehouse location and pallet volume. All pallets added to or removed from storage will incur an additional $10 fee per pallet. Additional charges will be assessed monthly based on activity.

Iron Mountain Warehousing and Logistics offers a full suite of value-added services (i.e. container unloading, palletizing, kitting, etc.) and fulfillment, however these are not available to purchase online. If you require additional services beyond pallet storage, please contact us to speak with a supply chain solution specialist.
